Questions, answered

What is Quapp?

Quapp is short for Quick Applications: a platform for instant apps and experiences. Creators publish lightweight apps called Quapps, and anyone can discover and open them instantly in the Quapp Store, with nothing to download or install.

How is Quapp different from a normal app store?

Traditional app stores make you download and install an app before you can even try it. On Quapp, an app opens the moment you tap it. There is nothing to install, nothing to update, and no storage used on your device.

What is a Quapp?

A Quapp is a mobile-optimized instant app published to the platform. Quapps run in the Quapp Store on the web or in the native Android app, and can use device capabilities such as storage, location, camera, files, and biometrics.

How do I publish my app on Quapp?

Build an app with Build Studio, Quapp’s AI app builder at build.quapp.io, and publish it straight to the platform. Or bring your own code with the quapp-cli (npm create quapp) and publish through the developer portal. Your app then appears in the Quapp Store with its own shareable link.

Do I need to know how to code to create an app?

No. With Build Studio you describe the app you want in plain language and AI builds it in front of you with a live preview. Developers who prefer their own stack can use React, Vue, Solid, or vanilla JavaScript via the quapp-cli.

Is Quapp free to use?

Yes. Discovering and opening apps in the Quapp Store is free, and creators can publish their apps to the platform. All you need is a browser; the Android app adds deeper device capabilities like sensors and push notifications.
